Is there a maximum number of 12v puck lights that can be on one transformer and is there a maximum distance from the transformer. I need to install 10 (6 under counter and 4 in a pantry area. There are 6 on one side of the room and 4 on the other. I have an outlet I would like to use so I don't have to install another.

Depands on the wattage of the lights and the transformer. The transformer wattage must be higher than the total light wattage.
