I applied two coats of Behr venetian plaster in my daughter's powder room and put one coat of Behr topcoat on it last night. My daughter called to say that there are still milky spots on it this morning. How long should it take to dry? when do I panic, and what do I do if it stays that way?? I did let it dry 24 hours before the topcoat and did not burnish or sand it. tried to follow directions, but maybe my definition of "thin coat" is off.
