I have a GE GNSF35Z01 softener. It's about 8 yrs old. I'm having a pretty bad water pressure drop when it's running in normal mode (across the resin tank). Unit seems to be recharging okay and using salt. About 2 years ago I installed a new seal kit and rotor.

Is there a fix for this? Or should I chuck it and buy new? I certainly don't want another GE. If I need to chuck it, what brand should I buy?
