My husband and I are considering adding new windows in several rooms of our house to increase the light coming in. My concerns are that we will have to hire an engineer in order to do this and also that we will have to install all of the windows at once instead of doing it one at a time. Can anyone share their experience with adding new windows to walls?

Adding windows is not usually a big deal, provided you are not planning on opening up HUGE sections of wall. The number of windows you do at one time is up to you, but if you choose to do them one at a time, and have a company come out multiple times, it will obviously cost more in the end than if you were to do several of them at the same time.
