i am in the process of remodeling my bathroom ( i have a concrete block house) both rooms are against the concrete i have my drywall strips in between is regular insulation (pink stuff) then poly (clear plastic stuff)
Well when i went to home depot they didnt have any insulation without the backing. The guy then told me the way they did it is wrong. he refered me to R MAX. (i think that whats it called) (foil silver on both sides) (i plan on doing my kitchen the same way.)
Now my question is what the best to use? with that r max do i need the clear plastic? any help would be great or another product..

What part of the country are you in? That's going to determine how you insulate and where the vapor barrier goes.
