I have a house that was built in 1957. I still have the original heat furnace. In addition, the house had a Swamp Cooler that was originally installed on the roof of the house and then subsequently this Swamp Cooler was uninstall off of the roof. The exhaust fan is still in place along with the original switch on the wall (settings show: off, Hi Cool, Med Cool, Low Cool, Vent, Med Vent, Low Vent, and Pump Only) that I would like to modernize to something more energy efficient (i.e., digital or ???). I have not inspected the exhaust fan in the attic nor have I removed the switch from the wall to determine the wiring, but can you provide/recommend what would be the most economical use of this exhaust fan?
