I am looking at installing a strand bamboo floor in my concrete slab on grade home. I have visited 2 good flooring stores in my area and one is recommending Teragren and the other Nikzad.
Has anyone installed either of the products? How are they holding up? Thanks!

I have actually had a lot of experience with both. Teragren is one of the top authorities in the bamboo industry. This is not to say that the product from Nikzad is not good, because I believe it is. If I was choosing I would go with Teragren, only because I know their practices of producing their flooring better.
Even though it is strand, you should consider using a moisture sealer and then urethane adhesive. This is just extra protection. I have seen it just glued down to concrete and have an issue, but your situation may be different.

for your input. I am on the fence about the strand or hardwood. What about the Nikzad hardwoods? Do you have any experience with them? Thanks again!

That is a loaded question because they offer so much. A lot of their products are sourced from Chinese factories with varying degrees of quality. Nikzad is a reputable company and I am sure you will be pleased. What type of hardwood are you looking for? Solid or Engineered?
