How do I remove the gas range top on a Kenmore Mdl. 665.75824000 so I can change the door locking latch?

Thanks

Hello kevinfoulois. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic and the Do-It-Yourself Web Site.

Makes and Models vary. Not sure I have a specific step by step instructions. Top may not need to be removed. Just the control panel above the locking device. May be difficult enough to do but not exactly sure.

Suggestions would be to ask at a local appliance parts store, inquire about obtaining a service manual at the parts store, Sears or the manufacturer. Likely to be Whirlpool.

Sears Search By Model Number Page:

Whirlpool's Home Web Site: (Also makes appliances for Sears)
