Have old water well that is only used for outside faucets. Was thinking of running a water line over to mist condenser when AC is on. Would this make a big improvement in efficiency.

It may help a bit but over time the minerals in the water will build up on the coil. Your best bet is to hose it out good a few times a season.

Like Matt said DONT DO IT AT ALL. It will cost you many $$$$$$$ in the long run. Make sure you have a clean air filter in it all the time will help a lot more.
