I have, what I presume, is a colored pea gravel( or sm. river rock?) over a concrete base of driveway. It's crumbling in several areas. Largest area is approx. 20" dia. Gravel is about 1/2 " thick. I don't know if the gravel is set into some type of thin set or if it's mixed and spread on. How do I apply/mix it and where would I purchase the mat'ls? Thank you.

It sounds like you're describing epoxy rock, which is just pea gravel with an epoxy binder and is applied over concrete. Some also call it chattahoochee stone. Usually these products are applied by someone who has bought into a franchise, so I don't know where to tell you to look for the materials to DIY. The terms above may help you do an internet search though. Good luck.

or 'chattahoochie' as pecos accurately answer'd,,, expos'd aggregate's part of the original 'pour' while chat' was a wtr-bas'd epoxy mix'd w/graded little stones of various colors,,, it was placed on top of existing conc, new or old,,, an old discard'd system that's being reinvent'd these days since memory of its many failures've been forgotten by most, there's a new crop of ignorant buyers who like webpages more'n permanence.

when we get those 'repair calls', we routinely remove it & replace w/polymer-modified cements.
