That is 120 volt out let, if you want to use that, you need to use the transformer.

If you want to use the low voltage from the furnace, you need to find the tab/wire from the pressure switch above.

I have two black wires coming out of the Honeywell HE220A Solenoid.if you use the power from the furnace, one wire will go to the C on the board below.

Other wire to one of the wire on the humidistat.

I have two black wires coming out of the Honeywell HumidistatAs above, one wire to the solenoid, other wire going to the pressure switch.

Jay,

Sorry to be such a noob, but needed some clarification

Does this diagram look ok?

http://img236.imageshack.us/img236/9748/diagqq4.jpg

Is the "C" in the picture below the correct Place?

Can I connect to pressure tab at the place indicated below?

Thanks again.

No need to be sorry. But yes the drawing is right.

Is the "C" in the picture below the correct Place?
Yes, C on the control board is where you want to go back to.

No, You want to go to a pressure switch that is up higher. Looks like this.

You may have a tab open or I have read in the install manual you may have a brown wire there.

Jay,

Is this the pressure switch? There is writing on it which says 24VAC, so i am guessing this must be it.

How do i connect my wire from the humidistat to the pressure switch? Both the tabs are being used by the yellow wires.

Hum... Your furnace is not matching with the manual I'm looking at... Must be older??

You could get those "Y"/cheater, and put it on the switch, or use the transfromer, and wire it on the HUM H on the board.

I created a new quick connector, by twisting the yellow wire and the wire with the humidistat. it seems to be working. Is that ok to do?

yeah, that will work out..

Hope you got the right wire... another word, when no call for heat, the humidifier shuts off?

The yellow wire i connected to said "COM" on it.

The other yellow wire said "NC and NO".

How can I be sure i connected to the right wire?

Thanks
