I just moved into a new house and need to replace the existing water filtration system.
Not really sure what I'm looking for, but any ideas would be great.
Thanks.

Hello,
I just bought a water filtration system from Houseneeds.com
Check out this site: http://www.houseneeds.com/index.htm
The sales team was helpful and their pricing is very competitive. Give them a call or check out their website.

Do you have a water softener or filtration? Why do you want to replace it? What are the symptoms?

The existing one was so out dated that it really needed to be replaced. I have alot of iron in my water and I'm tired of orange hair. I talked to Houseneeds like slb2782 suggested and ended up buying a system from them.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sounds to me like someone came on as two people and sold himself a bill of goods.

I can assure you that I am one person. As far as the amount of iron in my water I'm not sure, but when you have blonde hair everyone knows that high iron in your water can cause it to turn orange. We even tried to use a Brita filter for the kitchen sink for our drinking water and even that didn't help, so we decided it was time to replace the old filter system with something new. Cheaper in the long run instead of buying bottled water all the time.
Not trying to sell something, just looking for help.
Thanks.:D

I suggest Rhino Whole House Water Filter (http://water-filter-kits.com/products/rhino-whole-house-water-filter.html) not too expensive and of high quality.

Just my 2 cents worth but I searched and found www.waterfilterkits.com (http://www.waterfilterkits.com) to be very helpful and economical. They offer 3 year filters, most require annual replacement, and their cost per gallon is below others when you calculate over 3 years. MUCH cheaper than bottled water and better because of the active elements prevent bacteria growth anytime water is sitting in system unused (like during the night). Charcoal only systems don't have these active elements (pardon me if I don't remember its name), and the ultraviolet systems are way too expensive. Goodluck, and mothers, Happy Mother's Day!
