I'd like to add a couple of wireless window zones to my system. I have the Vista 10SE with 8 wirless zones already installed, and a simple non-alpha keypad. How easy is this to accomplish? Thanks.

It would be very difficult without a alpha pad (6160). You would be doing everything blindly, and one mistep could be bad.
You can get 6160 off ebay for about $60-70

Could I add this keypad as a secondary keypad, keeping/relocating the original? And do you think I could easily install / program the new alpha pad as well as some new wireless zones myself? Or do you think I would need to have a professional installer do this? I'm pretty rech-savvy. Thanks for the info on the possible ebay purchase.

Yes, you can leave the existing keypad. You don't even have to actually install and mount the alpha keypad, you can connect it temporarily if you wish.
