How long is the can life of Behr Venetian Plaster? My husband and I purchased 5 mixed (with pigmant) cans back in May of last year. Several things came up this last year preventing us from getting it onto the walls. Does any one know what the can life is? We'd like to get it up but still have some things we have to take care of.
Thanks,
Beth

Sorry to see that your post is not yet answered. Perhaps there is a Customer Service number on the can that you could call.

I did send Behr an email. They said to remove the plaster with a putty knife into a larger container and stir well. They said the plaster would still be usable.
Thank you!

Thank you for sharing that the Venetian plaster can still be used if stirred in a larger container. Perhaps you can share some tips on working with Venetian plaster.

We've never used it before, so it will be trial and error, I'm sure. We did do a test on a piece of dry wall, and it was beautiful. I'm sure we'll be posting our . . .um. . interesting . . .adventures. . . **laughs**

The plaster is fine. What usually happens is you get some dry buggers and sometimes the can rusts and falls into it. What you do is get a 1 gallon size paint strainer. It looks like a fine mesh. put the plaster into this and squeeze it into a clean bucket. Then mix. Works great.
