I have a DSC Power 632 - PC1555MX with a DCS Power Series 433 keypad. This was installed 3 years or so ago and has worked pretty flawlessly up until now. The problem is with my wireless sensors, I thought it may be the batteries, so I changed them and the problem remains.

Normally when I open a door or window the system will see that whatever sensor is now open and flash that sensors number on the keypad. It doesnt do that anymore. The only sensor that still works is the motion sensor which is hard wired.

Because of this (I'm assuming), when I set the alarm and leave the house, when I come back, the alarm sounds everytime. I'm guessing this is because once I walk in the motion sensor sees me and sets the alarm. I've tested it by setting the alarm, going outside, and once its set, coming in very slowly to keep from trigering the motion sensor. This doesnt set off the alarm.

Anyone have any idea as to what I need to do to get my wireless sensors working again? Could it be some sort of interference? I have a wireless network in my home, but that was there a while before this problem arose. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aaron

Nevermind, I fixed it! I did some more reading hear and decided to try powering down the system and that fixed it. Thanks!
