The UB1245 battery is not charging for the main board.
I replaced it with a new one, still getting the yellow system lite.
Is there a fuse in the battery circuit I need to check, or will I need to call the monitoring company to replace the board.
That could be expensive.

thanks
Tom

how long did you wait? It won't go out immediatley by itself. Try your code twice, or *4.

Often, even a new battery needs 24 hours to come to full charge (the system only runs the battery test once a day).

Also, have you checked with the *2 command to see if the battery trouble was the _only_ trouble?

I waited for 18 hours.

IT still beeps every few seconds and the system lite is on.
The codes I am not familiar with, can you both elaborate how to use them.
BTW, the keypad, does not have a LCD display.
All I really know is our unlock and lock code.

The only reason I know it was low battery, is because the monitoring co. called to imform us, they could send a battery.
I am a Network Admin, and ham radio dude, so electronics is not a foreign thing for me, I figured I could fix it easily by getting a new battery myself.

*2 command results:
ready
armed
system flashes yellow
zone1
zone2
zone3 solid red
zone4
zone5
zone6
no label
no label solid red

After entering *4 or *2 not sure which the beeping has stopped. but still yellow system. I will let it charge some more, and post again.
Thanks

3 is telephone line trouble. 8 is loss of system time. The use manual tells hous to set the time. If you call your monitoring station and put it in test, then set off the alarm, it should send a signal and clear the phone trouble.

Ahh, ok, I will plug the phone line back in, since I did not want them calling saying anoying stuff,

Appreciate the help.
