Hi ... I have a 3 year old GE side by side refrigerator model number GSL25WGPH. The freezer fan seems to be "revving" up and slowing down, like a manual transmission car when shifting. By doing a few searches on the internet, it appears to be either the mother board, which controls the fan speed, or the bearings in the fan. When only a few months old, I had the circuit board changed under warranty when the darn thing wouldn't stop running. Now a few years, the fan noise has started.
Any advice on what I should replace first or how to test what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Most likely it is the control board again.
