I have a Fleck 5600 Econominder and want to change the factory set regeneration time. Comes set at 2:00 am but I want to change that. Neither the owner's manual or service manual is of any help. Does anyone know how this is done?

Without you telling us exactly what model 5600 you have... in general, you could lie to the 5600 when you set the time of day and that will change the time the regeneration starts.

If you have a 5600SE then the regeneration start time can be changed in the programming.

Thatks for the response. I have the Fleck 5600 Econominder with manual controls and not the SE. Sicker on the back states that it is set at the factory to 2 am. I have changed the time of day but would like to know how the factory setting is made. Should be a simple task.

I don't know, but I suspect that the answer lies in how the gears are keyed, pinned, or indexed.

You can contact Fleck Controls here http://www.fleckcontrols.com/contactus.asp and ask them.

Please post what you find out.

The regen time can not be changed in the field.

The field expedient workaround is to offset the time of day to accomodate.
