Hi,

I want to install a Honeywell HE220A on a Lennox 80MGF furnace and, if possible, I'd like to avoid using the sail switch that comes with the Honeywell install kit. I heard that the sail switch is not reliable. Any idea if that is possible and if it is, how to do it?

Thanks for any advice.

Tom

Yes you can use the control board to wire up the transformer to this.

Look on the board, your model may have two type of board.

one will have HTG ACC. or Other may have AUX. Use of 1/4" female spade, and then the common side will have to hook up to a group of common/netural wires.
