I saw years ago where someone painted their upholstery and it was not stiff. Can anyone share with me what could have been mixed with the paint to avoid the stiffness?:thinker:

I don't know much about painting upholstery, but there is fabric paint available, in spray and brush on formulas, so I think I'd look in to using that first. I've heard that acrylic paints are a bit flexible. Maybe they used fabric dye on it? I can't imagine that any paint wouldn't add some sort of stiffness tho.

You might want to do some research on fabric spray paints. Here is one link: http://www.fabricspraypaint.com/
