Symptom:

After approximately 30 minutes of starting the self-clean mode, I get a F2 error, blinking DOOR LOCKED, along with BEEPING.

I turned the unit off to allow it enough time to cool down, then turned the power back on.

Normal operation (according to an additional internal thermometer) indicated that the sensor was working normally.

I obtained a new sensor unit, pulled the unit out and replaced the sensor unit. The resistance of the old unit was around 1089, which I heard was normal.

So, should I send the unit off to the Chicago outfit for a $88 rebuild of all components, or purchase a new component, which I understand doesn't match wire lengths exactly? If I do, can anyone shed light on what I am up for as far as this wiring problem?

Old = WB27K5273
New = WB27T10265 ($104ish) with door locking mechanism..

Thanks,
Jeeves
