We no longer want a telco line in home and don't want central station support. Local siren is sufficient. I paid for monitored system and the vender gave me the master code. I have Quickloader and cable (serial adaptor) and have successfully logged onto system and would like to disable telco line problem alarms. How????

Hmmm, the install and programming instructions are kinda unclear on this one. I _think_ that all you have to do is delete the phone number(s) and account number(s).

There is a setting for "report all zones to Central" that probably needs to be turned off as well.

I was able to disable the chime alarm reporting telco problems but the keypad still displays the telco error message. This also generates a system error message. If i clear this up, I will be successful.

when using the quickloader softerware,
disable all system reportings
disable all zone reporting
disable opening/closings
disable keypad reporting options

leave the central station phone number and account number programed, this wont affect whether or not the panel will dial-out.

also to reset the panel to get rid of the E03 com-fail, either with quickloader when doing a local connection it will ask you upload, download, ect select control and there should be a reset dialog box in the top right corner, or you could disconnect power to the panel (top right terminals, top two. Then disconnect the battery, when powering back up apply a/c power first and then battery.
hope this helps

I can now try to get back to this issue. It's been awhile so I'll let you know how it goes. Again Thanks
