Want to install a wall mount toilet. The spec is calling for a 1 in supply line, what should the minimum water pressure be for this type of application? Need to know if the supply line can be reduced down to 3/4 for the Flush Valve for 1.6 Water Closets.

Water pressure is not altered by the size of the pipe, volume(flow) is. It depends on the toilet flush mechanism, what does the manufacturer recommend??

rdruschel66: Just Bill is right, you must go with the manufactors specs.

Sloan Flushometers are readily made for 1" applications as it is a common requirement for commercial toilet installs.
