I have an elderly O'Keefe & Merritt gas stove. Yesterday
my year old grand daughter burned both her hands severely
when she pressed them against the hot oven's glass window.
Does anyone know if I can replace the window with heat reflective glass to keep this from happening again? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Hello BronxJoe. Welcome to the Gas Appliances topic.

Unfortunately, I do not know of any material, replacement glass nor anyway to reflect the heat. The glass should already be double paned to reduce the heat loss but not prevent the outer glass surface from becoming hot.

The best solution is probably to replace the whole appliance.
