I have a propane fired Ruud Power Vent w/ Powerglo Ignition System WH Model #PVP5QE-1P A. For the past several months the burner will go out and then re-ignite itself continuously until it reaches the desired temp or I turn it off. When it re-ignites it usually stays lite for less than 1 minute until its out again. I can get it to run normal by disconnecting both ends of the blowers vacuum lines and blowing the moisture out (suggestion from a furnace mech), but that only lasts for about one to two weeks. Will replacing the vacuum switch solve my problem, or is it bigger than that?
