I asked this in another post but I thought it might had gotten overlooked while answering my other question.

What is the longest horizontal run you can have on a propane hot water flue pipe and how far away from windows does the exhaust have to be? To vent out of the basement were the water heater is now it would be about 15' to the exterior wall, although I have the living room windows out that wall that are about 8 feet apart. So if I centered the exaust it would be about 4 feet away from the windows.
I'm thinking of switching from an electric to a propane hot water heater.

Thanks for the advice.
