I am trying to wire a Carrier OG-HUM-01 small bypass humidifier to an Amana GL-120E R3 gas furnace (mfg# P96328-10F, serial# K8920091).[/quote]
How old is this furnace? I am not able to pull this model # up.

Blue and black thermostat wires both land on the Y terminal.
Do you have A/C? Where is this blue and black wire coming from/go to?

G and R are empty.
R is HOT, how does your furnace run??? If you have A/C, how does your fan run in cool mode??? Sounds like we got a mess here.

Can whoever responds to this post (Sorry - I wish I could help) include if "C" is actually the common wire here? And if one DID have a 24VHUM connector on the furnace (I do), can the hot wire go on 24VHUM and the the neutral wire on the "C" in the midst of all those other letters??

Thanks,

Pete
