We have had the F2 and F3 error codes for some time now so I have purchased a new oven sensor (range model # is JSP69BVBB). I pulled the old sensor out and disconnected it very easily. Now, I am faced with the new sensor having a female connector instead of the male connector like the old one so it's not as easy as "snap and go." Can the connector on the old one be disconnected and replace the connector on the new sensor? HELP :) I have checked the GE website and others and there is only one sensor listed so I am fairly certain I ordered the correct part. Is there another adapter for this that will make this work? Thanks for any and all help!
