I would like to know how to get to the belt of the knemore dryer to replace it. I have heat but the drum will not turn. I am not sure if I go through the back or if I take the top off and I do not have my book on this dryer. The lent keeper is on top. There are two clasps on the back at the top that I can unscrew but I was not sure if I would mess it up with all the wires at the top. Thanks for any help, I am desperate!!! The Desperate Housewife with a piles of clothes to wash then dry. :wall:

Unplug -first check the breakers/fuse if this was a sudden failure.
Remove any screws (prab 2) for the lint trap
Insert a screwdiver and pry up the top from the front. The Top will hinge back so you will hve to pull it away from the wall. Disconnect the vent pipe first.
There will be a couple screws that hold the front in place. It should lift off and is usually only pinned at the bottom.
The front actually supports the drum.
