My brother has a trane daul pak ground unit.I recently tried to turn on the furnace (which hasn't been turned on for 2 yrs)the purge moter comes on and I feel hot air coming out(purge motor) but the furnace fan doesn't come on.After 2 yrs not being run can cobwebs be a problem?I hope this is enough info.I'm an electrician not HVAC guy.

Is it a gas-fired unit?
From the text it appears the unit is firing but the blower is not kicking ON.
Does the unit have a fan-limit switch or is it controlled by the board?

Well I think I fixed the problem, which was, I think it's called the A-coil.It was completely blocked and I cleaned it with a soft nylon brush.I don't think that any air was moving and that's why I couldn't feel any air coming out of the vent.Anyhow IT's working fine now. Thanks for your responce.
