hello I need help, I have amana gas stove range model#arg7300LL , the oven and broiler are not working, I thought the problem was the oven ignitor because I saw it was cracked, so I put in a new one, which did no help, there is no power to ignitor , when I move the oven control knob, to bake or to broiler , nothing happens, this oven has separate pad for the clock and self cleaning, when I turn the contol knob to self cleaning which you must do on oven knob , and then push the pad on clock pad for self cleaning, the self cleaning works, ??? so i know the top broiler is working ?? I am thinking it is the thermostat ,the stove top works fine, all fire up and light up well,I would like to make sure since this part is $150 I would greatly appreciate any help thanks

Hello risper1. Welcome to Gas Appliances topic and our Do-It-Yourself Web Site.
I suspect the separate touch pad for the oven and broiler is defective. Based upon the fact that the self clean cycle works on the other touch pad.
Since the broilers igniter is working, you might try switching igniter's and re-testing. Also, if able to do so carefully, use a volt meter to test for current at the terminal ends of the ovens glow igniter, when it is turned on.
There may be current at the terminal ends for the ovens igniter. Either test above will prove current is there. Use extreme caution handling igniter's. They are very fragile and break easily.
Rarely is a new igniter defective. But it can and does happen...:wall:
