Please anyone! I need help. It is just days before Christmas and my Whirlpool Oven has quit. This is a gas range Model SF 379LEK. It just went out tonight. THe Stove top gas works and the burners work. The oven does not work. The whole Electonic Oven Control Panel appears to have gone out. It is totally out. I have checked the circuit box, and the problem is not there...I click it twice to make sure....its just that the Electronic has gone out. Trying to find a repairman at this stage, going into Christmas weekend, could be disastrous. Is there an electronic chip that controls this that could have gone out? Is there a reset button somewhere? I am panicking here. This is so urgent that I need immediate help. Please email me at "Sorry no e-mail address allowed in the forums" if you know what I can do. I am brand new to this forum tonight, and may not know how to find the responses.
THanks anyone. - Tom

Hi T:

Take the console apart and look for any wiring that doesn't look right [heat damage, etc. Then take the wiring connector[s] off the electronic control and ensure the connections are clean/tight. You didn't input in the comlete model # but I found a typical parts breakdown here.

or you could put your complete model # here:

If you call a repair person and the Electronic Control is bad, they will have to order it because they usually don't stock them.

You might have to consider getting a used stove to get the turkey done or maybe you offer a neighbor/friend some money to cook your turkey at their place?

I checked the wiring diagram and there are no reset buttons.
