Hi all:
I just got a new drill press so I'm going to use my old 5-speed bench top model for spindle sanding. Does anyone know if I would want to run fast, medium, or slow for sanding?
Thanks
Dave

Slow to medium. Fast can get away from you and grab the work. It can also burn the work, heat the drum, and destroy the sanding sleeve from the heat.
