Hi,

my house 1500 sqft; Carrier 58PAV;

I want to install HE220A
open cut required: 9.3" width; 9.5" height
foot base: 11.5" width; 12.5" height

here is the overall furnace duct look

I'm thinking 2 options to mount the Hum unit

option 1 on the return plenum

Problem is: i dont have enough width to mount the foot base of the unit; as you see only 10" width

option 2 on the supply plenum

Problem is: i dont have enought height to mount the foot base; as you see only 13" height given that I have to cut into the seam wich joint 2 ducts together.

please advice.

You got room there on top.. the unit is 11 1/2" at the base. Where are you going to put the by-pass? (Around back to the return?)

There is where I got mine, but seeing your mess of gas line, be kinda hard to bring up the bypass.

Here is mine. My return is 10" wide, and no harm of having a little over hang on the ends.
