Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers - Need Advice Wiring Humidifier

I'm installing a whole house humidifier and have it just about done. I'm stuck, though, in connecting the transformer to the common terminal on my furnace board. That terminal already has one wire connected (with a standard insulated disconnect). My thought was that I could find a standard disconnect - female - with two wires attached to male disconnects to which I could connect both the humidifier and whatever else is hooked up there. I can't find anything like that, though.

Can I try to run two wires through one disconnect and connect that to the board? That seems unsecure. Or can I splice the humidifier and the existing wire using wire nuts and run a single line from that connection to the board? Any other ideas?

You can use a "Y" spade... (two male end, and one female)

What is the make and model of your furnace?

It's a Frigidair make, but I don't have the model number with me.

It's a Frigidaire RC 92+.

The wiring has been quite a ride. I found out there are two HUM terminals where the humidifier/humidistat wires go (one was at the back of the board, hidden by other wires.

I take it you got it hooked up then?

Not quite yet. After I got it wired it would kick on but not off when the furnace kicked off. I asked some questions and found that I shouldn't have used a transformer but a relay instead. With Christmas out of the way I'm hoping to meet with some success in getting it working this weekend. Here's hoping anyway!
