We have 3 bathrooms side by side in our office.
All 3 identical toilets are connected to the same drain line.
One of the toilets maintains a higher water level in the bowl.
This one toilet also from time to time overflows after it has been fliushed.
We have plunged the toilet. We have had a plumber in to snake the line and he says it is clear.
Not sure what to do next.
Not sure why the water level in the bowl is higher than the others either.
Any suggestions out there.
Is there a such thing as a faulty toilet?

The water level in a toilet bowl is determined by the trap that is cast into the toilet.

Yes, the toilet may indeed be defective.
