I have a GMP075-3 gas furnace, a Goodman heat pump and a RiteTemp 8050C thermostat. The furnace and heat pump both work, but the furnace does not always turn on when prompted by the thermostat. When I connect the W2 and RH wires, the furnace sometimes requires tapping the wires together a couple times before it will start up. Is there a basic component I can check that may be responsible for this? Thank you.
