Hi guys,
I've just installed an HE120 (up to 2500 sqf) the unit is on the supply and the bypass on the return. It has good flow and everything looks like is running but the humidity is not increasing. No cold draft pretty good isolation. The unit is running all the time but no difference in humidity. Any suggestions or should I just go for a bigger unit? The drum is taking good water on both ends. the water supply is fine.
Thanks

It does take time for it to gain on the home.
The unit is running all the time
You do mean when the furnace and blower is on???

Thanks for the info.
I guess my question is how long does usually takes to feel a difference in humidity. I just got the house and did not have any humidifier. The one that i've installed 2 days ago is running fine but like i said the humidity has not change.
Thanks again

As Ed said, it will take time for it to get up to speed. Being that you just put it in, you are not going to see the results right a way.. It will take a few days or more to get the humidity back into your walls, flooring, and what not in your home.
A drum style is going to take longer as well since it's using cold standing water vs a hot water going over the pad on the flow though style.

Do you know if i can connect this model HE120 to the furnace?
I have a Rheem 80% 100k BTUs fairly new ('06) on the circuit board I have a HUM connector.
Thanks again you guys are very helpful.

I don't know Rheem that way.. It has been 15 years since I've been around a Rheem.
Rheem/Rudd don't have info online for me to down load the manual to see if the HUM is 120 or 24 volts.. You'll have to look at the wire diagram, or take a photo of it for me to find out.
