I had the oven on for 2 hours when it sounded like I had
heavy equipment running in my kitchen. Turned off oven
and noise went away. What can be wrong with the oven
and is it dangerous. any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Was the fire pulsating?, and was it for the most part yellow or blue? Or didn't you take the time to look first out of fear? And have you checked your tank to make sure you are not almost running out? Are all vents associated with the propane tank free of say frozen snow or ice (albeit there should be a hinged lid over this)?
