I have a Kenmore Power Miser 6 electric water heater.
This morning we had hot water, then this afternoon there was none. I've checked the breaker and press the reset button and flushed the tank and still no hot water. Is this a thermostat problem???? If so, how do you check and replace the thermostat???
Thanks.

mumley,
Welcome to DoItYourself.com and the water heater forum.
Start with a voltmeter. Make sure that you have 220 volts across the top 2 screws of the upper thermostat. If you have that, then the problem is with the WH. If you don't have the voltage at those 2 screws, then you have to start tracing back to the electrical panel and find out where you lost it.
