In remodeling my bathroom it was necessary to remove the drywall and chip away a lot of concrete from an exterior wall in order to move a PVC drain. Only the outside part of the concrete block remains and the opening is about 27" wide, 15" high and 5" deep. I live in South Florida and have been told that before putting drywall back I need to get faced insulation to fill in the opening because of the humidity and I have a question about which way the facing should be, inside or outside. Thanks.

The facing or paper is the barrier and thus goes on the outside and the insulation facing inside.
