We are thinking of redoing our foyer with parquet flooring. How easy is it to install. We removed the parquet floor that was there to install a much lighter laminate flooring and looks good but just dont like the laminate. SO we want to go back to the parquet floor. How do you install it? It appeared to be linda glued down when we pulled it up with some type of black or very dark grey addhesive almost like the stuff you use to set tile. IS that what it is?

I am not sure how you do a real parquette floor but we looked at a engineered parquette floor and it went down like laminate. They were 6''x6'' squares if I remember right.
