Our master panel indicates a trouble light. The *2 function indicates we need a new 12v 4 AH Rechargeable Lead Acid battery. We have ordered one. Will we have any panel/alarm problems when we replace the battery? It looks pretty simple.

No, assuming that you don't have a tamper switch on the door to the system enclosure, changing the battery will not generate any alarms. You don't even need to power down.

It may take 24 hours for the new battery to reach full charge.
