We have a Trane Heat Pump. The heat was on, and I went to turn the temp up a bit (regular Trane thermostat, non-electronic--you just move the switch left or right to adjust temp).
When I went to move it slightly, I moved it to the right, but accidentally also movd it back to the left quickly. As I did this, the "emergency heat" light flashed quickly on the thermostat, then the inside unit went off. It has not come back on since, even when I put the temp up high.
I reset the circuit breakers inside and out, including the wall breakers that are made specifically just for the heat pump. The unit still will not work (inside or out).
What could be the problem? Are there fuses inside the thermostat that could have blown?
Thanks

The outside unit is an XE 1100
The inside unit model number is TWE030C140A1
There is a possibility the two letters/numbers after the TWE03 are 00 or CC and not 0C--there is a scratch through them, and I can't tel exactly what they are, but am pretty sure it's OC
EDITED TO ADD: The Model is TWE030C140A1--found paperwork with proper model number on it
Since all the house cicuits have been reset, where is the fuse to be reset on the unit itself (inside)?

Sounds like something got locked out.
You turn off the breaker for a 10 min and try it again?
What happens if you turn the t-stat from Heat to Cool?

I only turned the breaker off for 30 seconds. Maybe tomorrow I'll try it for longer.
When i turn the A/C on nothing happens either.
