I'm starting to build my next house and want to use spray foam insulation instead of rolls or batts. Is there any type that's a DIY project??

The work seems doable by a DIYer. However, where would you find the materials and equipment?

They do sell kits. I haven't done the calculations but from what I've heard others say, this only saves money on the small scale projects. The large scale projects you would be cheaper to pay someone to spray it yourself.
Just google "do it yourself spray foam" and you'll find a couple different suppliers.
I'm personally considering it when I do my crawl spaces due to what they wanted to charge for a job that small.
The down side is that most of these places only sell 2# foam, which you don't want to use on your roof since it is also a nearly perfect vapor barrier and you don't know if your roof leaks.

Thanks. A Google search did indeed turn up information on some DIY kits. But you may have talked me out of doing it myself. It's for my log house, which is cathedral ceiling throughout.
