I have a SK4724 system, with an ITI entrance keypad. The keypad is breaking apart, the rubber numbers are literally falling off. My alarm company indicates that THE ENTIRE SYSTEM NEEDS REPLACEMENT, at a hefty cost.
Any suggestions/compatible components?

If you have the model number you might check ebay for a replacement, but this is a very old system. You probally should upgrade. You might ask your alarm company about canceling and see if their price drops. If not, call around to see if any other reputable alarm companies will upgrade it for less.

Even if you can find the parts, these systems were a nightmare even for pros with full tech support. Time for an upgrade.
Your basic contacts are just fine. You just need to replace the control and keypad(s)
As long as you stick with the major brands, they are all equivalent. Take a look through the archived posts here, this topic is pretty frequent.
