Ummm, "Force Alarm" sounds like it may be a local or regional installer brand name. What brand and model is your hardware?

You are waiting too long.

To get into program mode:

Unplug transformer, unplug one of the battery wire leads.

Plug in transformer and hit * & # within 20-30 seconds of plugging unit back in.

When you do this, it will then read off the master code one digit at a time.

When you hit * & # when not in programming, that is the panic alarm keys.

More precisely, you will boot up in program mode. Key in #20 to read back the installer code. Exit program mode with with *99.

You will need the installer and programming manuals for this system. Run a websearch using the phrases: "Installer Manual Vista 10se", and "Programming Manual Vista 10se". The instructions for using the installer code to set a new master code is in the system operations section of the installer manual.

You need both manuals, or the instructions make no sense.
