Hi

I am having trouble with my alarm and can't make any sense of the instruction book. Maybe you can help??

The memory, bypass, fire and digits 2 and 4 remain lit.

I have determined that the trouble condition is #4: Failure to communicate.

I had disconnected the phone line when I moved into the house. The fire alarm has been activated and it obviously tried to dial the supplier. I have since reconnected the line but need to cancel this automatic dialling following an alarm.

Now I am unable to use the alarm until I reset this trouble condition. I have no idea how to do this - not due to lack of trying!

Hopefully you can provide some light on this.

Thanks,
Karyn :wall:

The memory light stays on until you arm and disarm the system. The fire light staying on means that you have not actually reset the fire zone that was tripped.

To reset fire zones, assuming that your smokes were properly installed, the command is *72.

In order to disable the dialer, you need to know the installer code. Look at the information in the FAQ. The 1565 is a minor variation on the PC1555 panel.

Sorry Karyn I am new tothis. Do you need it to dial a sec. company. You may have to default the system if you don't know the password. I can help you with that if necessary.
