I have a 1999 craftsman lawn tractor and every time i ingage the blades or take my foot off the Brake/clutch , the engine dies. Has anyone had a simular experience ?

Push the connector for the seat switch tighter onto the switch. You may even have to take a cable tie and cinch it tight. The problem is probably due to the micro switch inside the connector to the seat switch. If this does not work, replace the seat switch.
