Can't seem to find a .58 Gauge Bar & chain for my new 455 Rancher.
Does anyone know where I can find one?
What the part # is?
Thanks in advance!

If you need a new bar and chain, you should get them in .50 gauge, it makes it much easier in the future. Lowes, sears
or tractor supply likely has them in stock, as many mower/saw shops.
They are the same mount that fits Poulan and Echos
of that size.

Why not get the bar from the dealer you bought the saw from?

Bought saw thru eBay.
I think a .58 is better than .50 is this correct?

No there is no reason to opt for the .058 gauge, if you have the choice.

It seems to me with the power of this saw, a larger blade will cut more faster.

Im a landscaper so I've had several chainsaws from crappy (Mcculloch ) to decent ( Husqvarna ) , the ones I own now are Stihl and are very good , piece of advise just use it the way it came in , dont try to jack it up or modify it, be prepared to do a lot of maintenance on it especially sharpening/changing the chain often.
Also Husqvarnas are prone to getiing chain oiling mechanism clogged.

Thanks, But is the .58 better?

Stihl .325 chains, in this area, come in .063 ga. While the
larger Stihls have the 3/8 pitch chain, but in the .050 ga..

The gauge refers only to the thickness of the drive link/tang, only.

It is not in any way better, just harder to find.
